Visit to the coast

11 Jul

Been spending some time at the coast and playing around with my camera.

Tried my hand at doing a sunrise, which is totally new to me. It was actually nice getting up while it was still dark and seeing loads of people already out walking/jogging/sitting around and doing their own thing.

Boat waiting for launch before sun rise for some deep sea fishing

Actually it was still very dark at this stage but I think the lighthouse did help a bit here

and very quickly the sun was up and the day had started.

Thanks *hugs*. I did some birds this afternoon which I need to download to my laptop. They just fly so damn fast that I might suffer whiplash one day πŸ™‚

Ja. Niks gehoor, maar die see.
It is really a worthwhile break just to be able to forget the hectic schedule of normal working in the office.
Sitting on the beach this afternoon watching the ships lying outside the harbour I know that we in Gauteng dont have this quality of life at all.

And it was really dark when I took it! I was so glad it came out at all.
A second picture taken 10 minutes later came out totally bland

I will try get out again tomorrow, this morning I just lay in bed listening to the bit of rain until I felt guilty of doing nothing!

Fabulous photos, Paul. You must be staying a stone’s throw away from where I live. πŸ˜‰

Must be pretty close if I recall some of your photos. Saw a baby grand standing all alone up the road in the mall. 2+2
