My space

I am South African, live in Pretoria, which is still the capital even though this may change if the current government has it’s way. We dont have lions and elephants roaming our street in the cities but have had the odd buck or leopard getting lost every now and then πŸ™‚

I am married and have four daughters, and seven grand children.

I used to be a business analyst for a large bank but have since retired.

I enjoy the outdoors and have travelled quite a bit in our country, yet there is still plenty to see.

Love photography but don’t spend enough time doing it.

4 daughters – and I thought 4 sons were challenging!

My wife thinks daughters were a better bet! But when I see how my grand-sons are growing up I think she was wrong.
      Hope you enjoyed your sons

Yank here. Horrified at the racist savagry im learning of for first time. The picture the poor soul, the woman w/ crucifix jammed in her mouth, dead on bed, is it real ?!! Was clued in to do a google image search and am incredulous at all this i knew nothing of. Not alter or photoshopped other than printing added? Is that the barbarity you are dealing with? I need to know if its real. Thank you, and best wishes from the states.

      Sorry for only replying now.
Took a major break from blogging but going to start again.
Sadly the barbarism that is now being perpetrated against farmers of all colours is so bad that no photos are released to the public. The government hides the facts (and stats) of how bad it really is and the rest of the world just turns a blind eye. The sad thing is that most people couldn’t care a hoot about what goes on in Africa and the 3 million odd whites still living in South Africa are expendable.

No photoshopping. Pictures as sent clandestinely by police on scene.
